Tamarind Eco Art Projects:

We are a Toronto-based youth arts collective and organize community eco-art projects to mobilize, heal, and empower youth through creative expression

Mission:
Tamarind Eco Art Projects takes art to the streets. We explore themes of environmental and social justice through public art, community-based research, and street outreach.

Vision:

We work to challenge our relationships with the land by redefining our concept of public spaces through art and by creating collaborative artistic communities.

Workshops:

Youth will explore their her/histories and create a platform for which to tell their own stories, drawing on connections between environmental and social justice issues.

Workshops provide youth with a space to build community, explore environmental issues within our communities and urban systems, and gain confidence to express themselves through creative writing and visual arts.
